The JPI Group is working with Honeywell and looking to bring on Energy Field Service Technicians. Honeywell is a Fortune 500 company partnering with the local electric utility, Duke Energy, to provide a free service to its customers in selected neighborhoods throughout southern Indiana and northwestern Kentucky. This program relies on the Field Service Technician to install energy efficient products in the customer’s home to help reduce the electrical consumption.

Responsibilities (not all-inclusive):

• Installing energy efficient products in residential homes such as LED bulbs, low flow water aerators and showerheads, weather stripping, caulking, hot water tank insulation jackets, pipe insulation, foam sealant, and other measures

• Educating customers about ways they can save money by reducing their electrical consumption

• Accurately reporting installation measures

• Quality reporting to the Field Supervisor

• Documenting safety issues to management

• Safely driving work trucks/box vans to and from the customer’s home and office/hotel

• Participation in neighborhood kickoff events

• 80% potentially travel time or more throughout IN and KY (Vehicle provided)

SCHEDULE:

• Monday – Friday (8-hour days) with some occasional Saturdays. Occasional hotel overnight stays (paid by company).

• A four-day work week (10-hour days) is possible if field production dictates

• Weekends and some holidays off

Desired Skills:

• A background in HVAC, energy efficiency, construction, or related field a plus

• Excellent customer service background

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Detail oriented

• Safety minded

• Ability to work to a deadline and in fast paced environment

• High School Diploma or equivalent

• Valid Driver’s License and a clean driving record

• Ability to pass criminal background and drug screening

• Ability to speak Spanish is highly

Education:

• High school or equivalent ()

License/Certification:

• Driver's License (Required)
