HVAC Foreman
Summary of position:
The HVAC Foreman is accountable for providing timely corrective actions for Dulles Plumbing, Heating, and Air. The HVAC Foreman will work in cooperation with DPHA Field Supervisor to ensure the delivery of a quality product that meets the standards of Dulles Plumbing, Heating, and Air, Inc. This position entails performing repair, rework, and/or new construction duties either working independently or with field personnel.
This position carries out responsibilities in accordance with DPHA’s policies and procedures as well as applicable laws, and in accordance with recognized procedures and techniques common to the HVAC trade. This position reports directly to the DPHA Field Supervisor and / or the Vice President of Service Operations.
Essential responsibilities and duties:
· Complete Diagnosis and Repairs on Residential and Commercial HVAC Equipment
· Install and Start Up New Residential and Commercial Equipment
- Independently service compressors, heat exchangers, coils, accumulators, outdoor units, humidifiers, condensate pumps and electronic air cleaners
- Troubleshoot and repair major HVACR parts such as refrigeration leaks, motors, contactors, transformers, thermostats
- Must have the ability to perform heating and cooling maintenance inspections
- Must have experience working with controls on units
- Provide exceptional customer service to our customers
- Maintain a safe work environment
- Attend meetings associated with personnel and assigned projects
- Complete all on-site documentation and coordinate schedules: inform the crew of work schedules, compile and verify checklists, safety sign-offs, work orders, and other relevant documentation to ensure quality job completion
- Email a complete list of materials daily to the Purchasing/Warehouse Manager for all materials to be ordered and/or returned
- Ensure vehicle is stocked and properly organized for the next day’s production
- Perform all quality control measures which includes testing/checking rough-in dimensions and installation practices to ensure customer satisfaction
- Perform other duties assigned
Qualifications & skills:
· 2 - 5 years’ experience
· CFC Certification
· Must obtain OSHA 30 within 90 days of employment, company sponsored

Physical requirements:
· Ability to maintain balance
· Frequent moderate lifting, repetitive motion, bending, walking, climbing ladders, and working from heights
· Occasional heavy lifting, kneeling, stooping, and crouching
· Ability to work in hot and cold temperatures, precipitation, confined spaces, loud conditions, heights and other environments
