HVAC Install Foreman

We are seeking a knowledgeable and experienced HVAC Supervisor/Foreman to lead our team in providing exceptional heating, ventilation, and air conditioning services. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in installing HVAC systems. This role requires effective leadership skills and the ability to manage field service operations while ensuring compliance with safety regulations and industry standards.
FOREMAN:
Expected to be able to run a crew as small as 2 and as large as 15-20. A company phone, Company truck & tooling will be issued. An OSHA 30 is required if you do not have one we will assist you to obtain one.
Summary:
Supervises, coordinates, inspects and performs the assembly, installation and repair of components, subsystems and systems for the piping trade during the construction, tenant finish-out or remodel of commercial buildings and industrial facilities.
Pay: $30 - $55 per hour
Schedule: 8-hour shift Monday - Friday with a potential for overtime
Duties:
- Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of HVAC pipe installers
- Oversee the installation of HVAC/R systems in commercial settings.
- Ensure that all work is performed in accordance with established safety standards and regulations.
- Review schematics and blueprints to plan HVAC installations or repairs effectively.
- Provide technical guidance and support to team members on complex HVAC issues..
- Maintain accurate records of work performed, materials used.
- Train new employees on best practices for HVAC installation, repair, and safety protocols..
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Strong mechanical knowledge of HVAC systems, including installation, repair, and maintenance.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting schematics related to HVAC/R systems.
- Ability to build custom solutions based on project requirements.
- Able to weld piping.
- Familiar with steam systems.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on efficiency and quality workmanship.
- Strong leadership abilities with experience managing teams effectively.
- Effective communication skills for interacting with clients and team members.
- Must have a valid drivers license and clean driving record.
- Must be able to access and navigate all areas of construction sites
Experience:
- HVAC: 10 years ()
License/Certification:
- Journeyman HVAC (Required)
Ability to Relocate:
- Cincinnati, OH 45215 - Relocate before starting work (Required)
WORK ENVIRONMENT AND EXPECTATIONS
- Some job duties are performed within an established office environment under normal lighting and climate-controlled tolerances. The noise level in the work environment is usually low to moderate.
- When the employee is at a work site, the employee is regularly exposed to wet and/or humid conditions; moving mechanical parts; high, precarious places and outdoor weather conditions. The noise in the work environment is often loud.
- Requires a consistent physical presence at the branch office to oversee shared services functions and employees, normally achieved by working standard business hours. Certain positions will require flexibility of working hours to meet the demands of the job and the direction of the manager.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
- Prolonged periods of standing and walking.
- Requires lifting, positioning, pushing, and/or pulling.

- Must be able to lift at least 50 pounds at times.
