HVAC Lead Service Technician

We provide HVAC, electrical, and plumbing based in scenic Manson, WA. We are a new company with less than two years in business that has had great success, with plans to expand across the region. We work in Chelan, Douglas, and Okanogan counties. Contractors that have worked with us continue to hire us for work based on our communication, quality craftsmanship, standards compliance, and fair prices. We follow regulations and standards and don’t cut corners. We are ditching inefficient old habits that have plagued the construction industry and focusing on creating the best work environment for our employees. Pay starting $30 - $35 + Benefits (full-time year-round)

Required Qualifications
-
5-10 years field experience
-
Current Certifications
-
Universal EPA certification
-
06A Journeyman minimum
-
Proof of tech school graduation or equivalency
-
MECH 1 preferred
-
North American Technician Excellence (N.A.T.E.) preferred

HVAC program graduate
-
Must hold state driver’s license
-
Pre-employment background screening (criminal & DMV)
Skills & Experience
-
Seasoned journeyman level knowledge of servicing HVAC & refrigeration systems in residential & commercial projects

Knowledge of current codes & building requirements mandated by local & state government agencies for HVAC

Solid technical understanding, with the ability to troubleshoot complex HVAC issues

Proficient in reading schematics & work plans
The Position
-
Install, diagnose, maintain, & repair heating, ventilation, & cooling units for commercial & residential customers.

Calibrate system to manufacturer's recommendations & be able to explain the need for & value of recommended solutions. Instill confidence in your work to customers.

Reports to a project manager.

Layout & direct service techs with appropriate tasks daily.

Track multiple jobs progress while supervising the team.

Verify service standards are met by the service team (quality control).

Manage performance and provide training, coaching, & performance feedback to techs to drive productivity and efficiency.

Uses metrics to drive accountability & performance

Create & track SMART goals.

Manage materials stock in vans & warehouse proficiently.
-
Document details of service parts & repairs provided to customers in-person & electronically through phone apps.

Reliable communication with customers, crew, and admin.

Has a desire to create and build a system that is innovative and progressive.

Ensures use of PPE & the application of safe behavior by crew.

Be available to work nights or weekends, on a rotating basis, to service emergency needs of our customers.
