JOB OVERVIEW

We are seeking a skilled HVAC residential/commercial technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be knowledgeable but able to ask for help when in uncertain situations, able to work on their own or as part of a team, responsible for diagnosing, repairing, maintaining, and installing heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems in residential and commercial settings, and providing information and guidance to customers where appropriate.

RESPONSIBILITIES

- Represent the company well and uplift its reputation through appearance, attitude, communication, and behavior

- Perform diagnosis on and troubleshoot residential and commercial HVAC equipment.

- Perform repairs on residential and commercial HVAC equipment

- Perform and lead installations of residential and commercial equipment.

- Perform start-up on residential and commercial HVAC equipment and connected devices (i.e. smoke detectors)

- Communicate with team members and manager via company messaging software

- Operate through and log call notes on field service management software

- Conduct self in a safe and responsible manner with vehicle and vehicle inventory

- Provide information and guidance on unit replacement where indicated

- Provide information and guidance on benefits of companion products or services where indicated

SKILLS

Required:

- Knowledge of residential and commercial HVAC systems and how to diagnosis, repair, and install them

- Valid, clean driver's license for van driving duties

- Read and interpret schematics for HVAC systems

- Comfort or openness to using technology.

- Patience with customers and colleagues.

- Desire to learn new skills and grow in career.
