IVEY MECHANICAL COMPANY has immediate openings for experienced and motivated SERVICE TECHNICIANS to maintain and service COMMERCIAL HVAC/R systems

JOB DESCRIPTION: -Utilize your strong skills and experience to troubleshoot, repair and maintain commercial HVAC and refrigeration equipment. -Diagnose causes of breakdowns, test parts with appropriate instruments, disassemble and assemble parts, and make necessary repairs to equipment and associated components. -Troubleshooting and repairing HVAC systems such as roof top package units, dehumidification units, ventilation systems, etc. -Refrigeration equipment knowledge is a PLUS: reach-in and walk-in boxes, cooler display cases, and ice machines -Perform repairs, overhauls and start-ups of commercial HVAC systems -Perform preventative maintenance, site surveys, replacement and modifications -Control wiring and high voltage -Documents work-orders digitally using Company provided tablet -Prepares for on-site installation and repairs by examining building layout, gathering material and coordinating on-site work with customer and dispatcher Primary areas of expertise include: -HVAC systems -RTU's -Dehumidification units -Split systems -DX systems -Reach-in and walk-in boxes -Cooler display cases -Ice machines

QUALIFICATIONS: High school diploma or equivalent, EPA certification, Communication and customer service skills, Knowledge of OSHA safety regulations, Must be able to work independently and without supervision, 5 years of experience .

Commercial technician with 2+ years of experience in service and preventative maintenance

Valid NC driver's license -Great attitude -Dependable and on time

Ability to work well with other team members

Clean cut appearance

Willingness to work extended hours in peak seasons

CFC Certified

Great troubleshooting skills with both electrical and refrigerant circuits

ABOUT IVEY MECHANICAL

In 1947 Mr. Kermit Ivey founded Ivey Mechanical in Kosciusko, Mississippi. At the time, his small repair shop focused on residential and small commercial construction. The company continued on a steady growth pattern with annual sales that approached a half-million dollars by 1958.
