HVAC Service Technician (Commercial & Residential)

Summary: We are seeking an experienced HVAC Service Technician with 10-15 years of expertise in troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining HVAC systems for commercial and residential properties. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of providing outstanding technical service, excellent customer interaction, and a deep understanding of HVAC systems and equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Diagnose and repair HVAC systems, including furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, and ventilation systems.
• Perform routine maintenance to ensure system efficiency and longevity.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues for both residential and commercial clients.
• Conduct system performance tests and recommend improvements or upgrades.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards, local codes, and manufacturer guidelines.
• Educate customers on system operation, care, and maintenance best practices.
• Complete service reports, update records, and maintain accurate documentation.
• Maintain a professional and courteous demeanor with customers and team members.

Qualifications:

• Experience: 10-15 years of HVAC service experience in residential and commercial environments.
• Education: High school diploma or GED; advanced HVAC training or certification .
• Certifications:
• EPA Type II ()
• EPA Certification ()
• Proficiency in diagnosing and repairing various HVAC systems and controls.
• Familiarity with energy-efficient technologies and practices.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Valid New Jersey driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to lift heavy equipment, work in confined spaces, and withstand varying environmental conditions.
