Hydraulic Project Engineer- Construction

Randstad is currently working with an industry leading organization which delivers major construction projects domestically and internationally, it has a fantastic reputation in the industry and has exceptional relationships with its clients. Many of the projects are set in remote locations and have strict quality and completion targets that must be met. With a current project pipeline of over $150 million of work in hand, this organization is growing rapidly and is expected to be awarded more projects in 2024. As a result, it is looking to source a Hydraulic Project Engineer to produce designs for hydraulics and sign assist in the delivery of on-site hydraulic systems.Key Responsibilties include:Develop detailed hydraulic designs and specifications tailored for construction equipment and operations. Assist the installation and commissioning of hydraulic systems on site, ensuring they meet project specifications and Australian Standards. Ensuring quality of works during installation of hydraulics systems on site. Ensure all hydraulics installations comply with Australian local, state, and federal regulations, industry safety standards and project specifications. Work closely with project managers, architects, and other engineering disciplines to align hydraulics systems with overall project goalsKey skills and qualifications required for this role include:Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, or a related field with a focus on hydraulics (accredited by Engineers Australia if acquired overseas). Minimum of 5 years’ experience in hydraulics design engineering in AustraliaProficient in using CAD software and other hydraulics design tools. Strong understanding of the latest hydraulics standards and safety regulations in Australia.
