Due to the ongoing success of this initiative, we are currently looking for highly skilled and motivated Process Engineers to join our dedicated team in undertaking the Front-End Engineering Design of cutting-edge industrial fuel switching projects.Position Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Process Engineer with a proven track record in the field of future energy, particularly in industrial fuel switching and hydrogen technologies. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in designing, optimising, and implementing advanced processes that contribute to the transition towards a low-carbon, energy-efficient future. Your expertise will be instrumental in supporting our clients' efforts to adopt sustainable energy solutions while enhancing operational efficiency.Key Responsibilities:Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and develop innovative processes for industrial fuel switching and hydrogen integration. Conduct thorough techno-economic assessments to evaluate the feasibility and potential benefits of adopting new energy solutions. Lead process simulation and modelling activities to optimise energy conversion, efficiency, and emissions reduction. Provide expert guidance on the selection of appropriate technologies, equipment, and materials to achieve project objectives. Identify and mitigate potential process-related challenges, ensuring safe and compliant operations. Work closely with clients to understand their specific needs and develop tailored solutions that align with their sustainability goals. Prepare detailed engineering documentation, including process flow diagrams, P&IDs, and equipment specifications. Collaborate with regulatory bodies and third-party stakeholders to ensure projects adhere to relevant industry standards and regulations. Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in industrial fuel switching, hydrogen technologies, and energy policy to continuously enhance your expertise. Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Process Engineering, or a related field. Master's degree is a plus. Proven experience in process engineering, with a focus on future energy solutions. Demonstrated experience in industrial fuel switching, hydrogen production, and integration within industrial processes. Proficiency in process simulation software (e.g., Aspen Plus, HYSYS) and familiarity with relevant engineering tools. Strong understanding of energy markets, policies, and regulations in the UK. Excellent analytical skills and the ability to translate technical insights into actionable strategies. Effective communication skills to collaborate with diverse teams and engage with clients and stakeholders.
