Import Specialist, Logistics Operations

Responsibilities 职责: Implement and oversee import and export operations to ensure trade compliance and manage import and export operations effectively. Develop and finetune cross-functional team processes related to import and export operations. Coordinate internal and external team to tackle with operations issues or emergency.Interface with trade compliance team to align operations and strategies.Interface with manufacture site to coordinate bonded materials hand book.Manage and cooperate with freight forwarders/agents to ensure customs release in time and on time delivery to customer for ocean liner, air and international express shipments. Monitor import and export KPI, make the root cause analysis and work out corrective and preventative action plans for those falling outside of the allowable tolerances. Process freight/brokerage invoice and solve invoice discrepancy.Drive continuous improvement in import and export processes, as well as IT solutions (SAP, GTS, CTM etc).Ensure adherence to all SOP’s and controls related to Safety and Compliance Qualifications 要求: Bachelor’s degree, minimum 5 years’ experience in export & import operations for chemical industry Extensive knowledge of international trading and Customs legislations. Experience with IT system used in customs and import/export operations, such as SAP, GTS, CTM.Proven ability to work collaboratively with team members and stakeholders, also be able to manage multiple tasks efficiently.Strong coordinating and teamwork skills.Strong oral and written communication skills in English and Chinese.Process-oriented with an emphasis on implementing efficient workflows.
