Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Estimator to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction estimating, particularly within the industrial electrical sector. This role is crucial for ensuring that our projects are accurately priced and aligned with client expectations. The Estimator will work closely with project managers, contractors, and clients to deliver precise estimates that support successful project execution.

Duties

• Analyze project plans and specifications to prepare accurate cost estimates for electrical construction projects.
• Collaborate with project management teams to understand project scope and requirements.
• Build relationships with subcontractors and suppliers to gather pricing information and negotiate contracts.
• Conduct site visits to assess conditions and gather data necessary for accurate estimating.
• Prepare detailed reports that outline estimated costs, including labor, materials, equipment, and overhead.
• Review and adjust estimates based on changes in project scope or market conditions.
• Ensure compliance with the Electrical Code (NEC) in all estimates provided.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in construction estimating, specifically within the electrical field.
• Ability to effectively negotiate contracts and pricing with vendors and subcontractors.
• Excellent analytical skills with a keen attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to convey complex information clearly.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment while managing multiple projects simultaneously.
• Familiarity with construction site operations and safety protocols is a plus.
