Position: Industrial Electrician - Manufacturing
Day Shift: Monday - Friday
$32-$45 DOE Full Benefits
Join our team and play a crucial role in the maintenance and enhancement of our cutting-edge manufacturing operations. As an Industrial Electrician, your responsibilities will encompass installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of electrical systems and equipment crucial to our production processes.
Key Responsibilities:

System Inspection and Maintenance:

Conduct thorough inspections of equipment and systems to identify any operational issues promptly.

Perform preventive maintenance to ensure optimal functioning of motor control centers, control devices, and associated components like relays, timers, switches, and interlocks.

Electrical System Management:

Install, troubleshoot, and repair variable frequency and direct current drives integral to our manufacturing processes.

Proficiently handle programmable logic controllers (PLCs), including reprogramming, modifications, and designing control circuits as needed.

Operations Support and Improvement:

Utilize mechanical, electrical, and machining skills to execute daily tasks efficiently.

Actively participate in process improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and quality standards.

Collaboration and Maintenance Coordination:

Coordinate with operations to plan and schedule repairs, ensuring minimal disruption to production.

Regularly communicate and collaborate with team members to maintain a cohesive workflow.

Safety Compliance and Quality Assurance:

Adhere to all safety protocols and company procedures, prioritizing a safe work environment.

Conduct periodic quality checks on equipment and systems to ensure compliance with industry standards.

Qualifications:
-
Formal training and practical experience as an Industrial Electrician in an industrial setting.

Associates degree in applied technology or equivalent experience in industrial/manufacturing fields.
-
3+ years of hands-on experience in an industrial setting, preferably in sheet metal manufacturing.

Proficiency in hydraulics, pneumatics, and electrical systems (480V, low voltage, DC).

Extensive knowledge of electrical distribution principles, PLCs, variable frequency drives, and related troubleshooting.
Physical Requirements:
The role demands physical dexterity and strength, involving heavy work occasionally and frequent handling of objects up to 50 pounds. Candidates must be capable of various physical tasks while operating machinery for extended periods.
