Industrial Electrician

Industrial Electrician required. Our client provides industrial automation services across a range of sectors, including water and wastewater treatment where they are looking for a qualified Electrical Installer due to the growth of the business. Work will mainly be at Severn Trent areas including Midlands (Leicester and Derby for the majority), Lincolnshire, Chester and York.



Successful candidates will work on major construction projects installing cable, containment, control panels on Utility equipment and at Waste water treatment plants. All work will be low voltage, up to 400V.



Industrial Electrician Position Overview



Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and equipment in industrial settings across the U.K.

installing electrical systems (cable/traywork/glanding/terminating) on water authority works

Perform preventative maintenance on electrical systems and equipment to ensure safe and efficient operation.

Troubleshoot electrical problems and diagnose issues with electrical systems and equipment.

Liaise with clients and offer solutions and advice

Read and interpret electrical drawings to install and maintain electrical systems and equipment.

Install and maintain electrical control systems in various industrial settings

Ensure compliance with electrical codes, standards, and regulations.

Keep accurate records of electrical work performed and maintain inventory of electrical equipment and supplies.



Industrial Electrician Position Requirements



3+ years of Electrical Installation experience in the industrial sector.

18th, C&G level 3, NVQ level 3, AM2 and ECS Gold Card

SAP Authorised highly desirable

2391 desirable

Happy to stay away when needed.

Water hygiene background desirable



Industrial Electrician Position Remuneration



Salary: £40,000- £65,000

Working Hours: 40 hours a week

Overtime available

Work away allowance

Travel time paid

Holiday Package: 25 days + 8BH
