Job Summary: We are looking for an Industrial Electrician to work a split shift. The Industrial Electrician will lead electrical projects throughout our facility to ensure proper safety and electrical guidelines are met. You will report directly to the Production Supervisor and Night Maintenance Supervisor.
Essential Responsibilities:
- Ensure that electrical infrastructure and work are performed according to Electrical Code.
- Communicate and schedule electrical maintenance projects under the direction of the Production Supervisor and Night Maintenance Supervisor; ensure that the production plant is in a “ready-to-run state” at the end of your shift.
- Uphold and enforce company policies, including safety and environmental.
- Manage and maintain inventory of spare parts and tools.
- Identify and troubleshoot electrical issues with industrial equipment, such as electric motors, VFDs, soft starts, power supplies, PLC controls, and hydraulic controls.
- Develop and present recommendations to the Production Supervisor and Night Maintenance Supervisor on the causes of electrical problems to improve established processes and practices.
- Be proficient and able to repair, install, and maintain control circuits and motors in three-phase volts: 480 volts, 440 volts, 220 volts, and 208 volts, and single-phase volts: 120/110 volts.
Skills:
- Strong knowledge of electrical safety concepts.
- The ability to use basic hand tools, basic mechanical ability, some equipment
- Must be able to follow written and verbal directions as given by a supervisor or manager.
Experience:
- 3-5 year's experience as an industrial electrician
Education:
- High School or equivalent
Pay Range
- $29.00-$30.29
