Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Journeyman Industrial Electrician to join our team. As an Industrial Electrician, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems and equipment in industrial settings. This is a full-time position with competitive pay and benefits.
Responsibilities:
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and equipment in accordance with local, state, and electrical codes
- Troubleshoot electrical issues and perform necessary repairs
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget
- Inspect electrical systems and equipment for safety and compliance
- Perform preventative maintenance on electrical systems to ensure optimal performance
- Maintain accurate records of work performed
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Proven experience as an Industrial Electrician
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, wiring, and equipment
- Proficient in blueprint reading and interpretation
- Familiarity with low voltage systems and logic controllers
- Ability to use hand tools and power tools effectively
- Excellent problem-solving skills
