Then come be a part of our Industrial Engineering team focusing on all technical aspects of our wood component production and windows assembly and step into a key role where you support and cooperate with production and project management as you help them develop, maintain and implement production concepts and technology as well as new products introduction.Your responsibilitiesJoining as Industrial Engineer you will be instrumental in the development and continuous improvement of our production at our factory in Østbirk.As a technical point of contact between product development, equipment manufacturers, project management and your colleagues in production, you spend the majority of your time in the production devoting your time to:Participating in product introduction projects with many stakeholdersCoordinating and ensuring product changes are implemented smoothly into the production environmentIdentifying, planning and realising continuous improvements to existing equipment and processesRunning small-scale projects including managing the project triangle of economy, scope and resources, and administrative tasksCommunicating and cooperating closely with colleagues in our production and across the production organization, discovering their needs and learning all there is to know about our toolsYou will join the Industrial Engineering team focusing on wood component production and windows assembly which consists of several experienced industrial engineers, project operators and maintenance technicians ready to welcome you onboard. We have the technical responsibility of the production and is capable of supporting when necessary.Your qualificationsWith your curious nature, you naturally seek out knowledge, especially when interacting with your operator colleagues working in production. You use your keen process understanding methodically to find ways of improving these and develop new ones. Likewise, you are known for your ability to listen, always seeking to find solutions through collaboration and dialogue. You see things from different angles, and you are always curious about the newest development within production. Moreover you:Likely have a background as an operations/automation engineer or marine engineer. Alternatively you have experience with design for manufacturing combined with either a background as production technologist or production engineerYou likely have some experience in a similar role, experience from a production would be idealHave a LEAN mindset regarding value streams and project and production flowsYou have knowledge of, and perhaps experience working with design for manufacturing, value stream mapping, requirement specifications and overall equipment efficiencyWe do not expect you to know all there is to know about our tools and processes before you join us as these are specific to our trade.
