Industrial Engineer
Hire Resolve is seeking a talented Industrial Engineer to join our client's dynamic team in the Aerospace and Manufacturing industry. The ideal candidate will play a key role in optimizing production processes, ensuring efficiency, and upholding the high-quality standards required in the aerospace sector. Responsibilities Analyze current manufacturing processes to identify inefficiencies and areas for improvement. Implement lean manufacturing principles (e.g., Six Sigma, Kaizen, 5S) to optimize processes and reduce waste. Develop and refine process workflows to ensure compliance with aerospace industry standards. Oversee changes in manufacturing processes to accommodate new products or updated designs. Collaborate with the Quality Assurance team to address non-conformance issues and ensure product quality. Identify and implement new technologies (e.g., automation, 3D printing) to improve production efficiency. Collect and analyze production performance data (e.g., cycle times, equipment efficiency). Monitor and control manufacturing costs to optimize resource allocation and reduce expenses. Develop reports and present process improvement findings to senior management. Ensure compliance with safety standards and environmental regulations in the production environment. Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field. 3-5 years of industrial engineering experience in a manufacturing or aerospace environment. Experience with lean manufacturing methodologies, including Six Sigma. Strong understanding of aerospace industry standards (e.g., AS9100, ISO). Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., CATIA, SolidWorks) for process design and analysis. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with attention to detail. Experience with manufacturing processes such as metal forming and composites. Proficient in data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, Minitab) to track and improve production performance. Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced production environment.
