Industrial Engineer Miejsce pracy: Katowice Recruitment for Our client is seeking a motivated Industrial Engineer to join their team on a 1-year fixed-term contract. This role focuses on optimizing operational efficiency, implementing process improvements, and supporting ongoing continuous improvement initiatives Your responsibilities Evaluate production processes to identify inefficiencies and implement solutions to reduce waste, leveraging lean management techniques. Develop and execute improvement plans, such as time and motion studies, to enhance resource utilization and productivity. Manage and oversee improvement projects aimed at optimizing quality, costs, and delivery performance. Identify root causes of operational challenges and implement corrective measures. Track and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to uncover areas for enhancement. Collaborate with departments like production, quality, and logistics to align and streamline workflows. Assist in the design and implementation of new production lines or modifications to existing systems. Provide training to employees on lean methodologies and process optimization tools. Create and maintain documentation, including standard operating procedures (SOPs), for improved workflows. Employer requirements Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field. At least 3 years of experience in a similar position, ideally in the automotive supply sector. Fluent English (C1) Strong understanding of lean principles, including tools like 5S, Kaizen, and Value Stream Mapping. Proven ability to analyze processes and implement effective optimizations. Familiarity with production planning, logistics, and supply chain operations. Proficient in data analysis tools such as MS Excel and experience with ERP systems.
