Job DescriptionWe are looking for smart, sharp, hardworking industrial engineering students who loves to work in high tempo and looking for a meaningful long term experience in material planning in high complexity & challenging business environment.What’s in it for you?A great opportunity for a challenging and developing experience in materials planning & logistics roles in an high end technology company with non-compromised operational excellence that offers multiple long term career opportunities for outstanding students.Our Group: Material planning & Logistics, Operations divisionWhat you'll be doing:Material planning student in PDC Operations division is responsible for planning, control and analysis of operational/material processes in order to ensure continuous improvement and organizational efficiency in main operational and financial KPIs.As part of the student role you will get to lead independently various type of challenging projects in order to support inventory reduction, Supply chain ROI simulations, definition and implementation of new processes and infrastructures that supports efficient planning in low validity business environment, Shortages analysis and more.The role includes high exposure to complex organizational processes and interfaces and requires high interpersonal skills, fast thinking, high independency and ability to lead activities with no formal authority.What you should have?2nd/ 3rd year student for B.S.C in industrial engineering from a leading and recognized universityCommitment to work at least 2.5 days a weekAbility to gain cooperation of others, cooperate and lead complex interfaces with no authorityAbility to work under pressure, manage and prioritize multiple tasks in parallel and manage timelines & due dates independentlyVery good analytical skills, sharp & fast thinkerHigh interpersonal skills, ability to lead and cooperate with complex interfacesGood verbal skills, ability to present and communicate key messages to an audienceExcellent English – speaking and writingWho we are?Applied Materials Israel is home to the Process Diagnostics and Control business unit (PDC).
