Industrial Engineering Manager (m/f/d)

In this Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be: Active participation in strategy development and close collaboration with Asian manufacturing and US industrial engineering leaders. Break down global engineering strategy to team level and define and support contribution projects Manage a manufacturing support team of engineers and technicians, mentoring members, providing technical advice and facilitating continuous improvement projects Coaching team members Preparation and follow-up of individual development plans Setting short and long-term goals for team members and the team as a whole Monitoring metrics, increasing or decreasing thresholds where necessary Continuous monitoring, development and support of trainees Continuous improvement of key team activities: o Establish and improve manufacturing value stream processes. o Analyse manufacturing and warehouse capacities, support S&OP processes. o Supporting the day-to-day operations of production and warehouses by developing automation capabilities (Industry o Maintaining and improving the product pricing process (Costing). o Develop and exploit data analysis activities (Big Data). o Developing corporate lean culture, managing lean programmes. Ensuring new product manufacturing processes. Process improvement, optimization and finding cost-effective, fail-safe solutions through quality improvement. Ensuring the use of Lean principles in the design, development and implementation of new products and services. Ensuring the use of Lean principles in daily activities Liaise with other engineering, facilities management, production planning and production teams Planning, managing and maintaining budgets related to fixed assets and team operations (CAPEX, OPEX) Who You Are: You leverage each team member’s unique background to achieve team goals. You deliver messages in a clear, compelling, and concise manner. You focus efforts on continuous improvement; and have a knack for identifying and seizing opportunities for synergy and integration.
