HiFyve is hiring a Licensed Industrial Maintenance Electrician in the Manufacturing industry in Zumbrota, MN!

Salary: $35 - $45 per hour (higher for Master Electricians)

Shift: Days

Location: Zumbrota, MN

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

• Perform electrical maintenance on plant utilities and manufacturing equipment.
• Install, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems, including 120V, 240V, and 480V three-phase wiring, conduit, panels, breakers, and controls.
• Work with PLCs, automation systems, and interlocking systems to ensure efficient plant operations.
• Maintain and repair motor control centers, frequency drives (VFDs), contactors, relays, timers, and other electrical components.
• Read and interpret electrical schematics, technical manuals, and work orders.
• Conduct preventive maintenance on electrical equipment and processing machinery.
• Ensure compliance with electrical codes, OSHA standards, and industry safety regulations.
• Maintain accurate records using a computerized maintenance management system (CMMS).
• Assist operators with troubleshooting equipment issues to minimize downtime.
• Stay current with industry advancements, safety practices, and new technologies.

Education Requirements:

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Graduation from a trade school or technical program .
• Must hold a Minnesota Journeyman or Master Electrician license.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Food & Beverage industry experience but not required.
• Strong knowledge of electrical codes, OSHA standards, and safety regulations.
• Proficiency with PLC programming, troubleshooting, and automation systems.
• Experience working with industrial electrical systems, motor controls, and VFDs.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical documents.
• Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, and electrical testing equipment.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to lift 70+ lbs and work in confined spaces when required.

Basic computer skills for maintenance recordkeeping and CMMS use.
