Position Overview

Family-owned (and employee-loved) manufacturing company Compco Industries seeks a high-performer Industrial Maintenance Electrician, to ensure sustained and efficient operation of our equipment and processes. We seek someone who can work both independently and as a great team-player, to help support our company’s vision of excellence and customer-focused service.

Responsibilities

General

• Follow all safety policies and procedures.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Work independently or with supervision, ensuring timely task completion.
• Maintain accurate maintenance and time records.
• Respond promptly to interruptions requiring immediate attention.

Electrical

• Adhere to NEC and NFPA 79 standards.
• Read and interpret electrical schematics and drawings.
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical systems efficiently and safely.
• Design, upgrade, and maintain electrical controls, including PLC programming.
• Plan wire runs, conduit installation, and ensure proper labeling/documentation.
• Install and maintain OSHA/ANSI-approved safety devices.
• Program and maintain Variable Speed Drives.

Mechanical, Hydraulics, and Pneumatics

• Interpret mechanical drawings for system upgrades or modifications.
• Hydraulic and pneumatic experience but not required.

Fabrication and Welding

• Welding and fabrication skills are a plus.

Skills Welcomed But Not Required

• Background in electronics, circuit board troubleshooting, and CNC system maintenance.
• Ability to repair and program CNC electrical systems.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $29.95 - $35.00 per hour
