We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Industrial Service Manager to lead and oversee the installation, maintenance, and repair of industrial machinery and equipment, ensuring optimal operational efficiency, safety, and reliability in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Leadership & Supervision:
    • Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of millwrights, ensuring effective performance and development.
    • Assign tasks, set priorities, and monitor progress to achieve departmental goals.
    • Conduct performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback.
  • Technical Expertise:
    • Possess in-depth knowledge of industrial machinery, equipment, and related systems.
    • Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair complex mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic issues.
    • Interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to plan and execute maintenance and repair activities.
  • Installation & Maintenance:
    • Oversee the installation, alignment, and commissioning of new and existing machinery.
    • Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs to minimize downtime and optimize equipment performance.
    • Ensure all maintenance activities are performed in accordance with safety regulations and company procedures.
  • Safety & Compliance:
    • Promote a strong safety culture within the team, ensuring adherence to all safety protocols and regulations.
    • Conduct regular safety inspections and audits to identify and address potential hazards.
    • Ensure all work is performed in compliance with relevant industry standards and regulations.
  • Planning & Scheduling:
    • Develop and manage maintenance schedules and budgets.
    • Plan and coordinate maintenance activities to minimize disruptions to production.
    • Track and analyze maintenance data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
  • Communication & Collaboration:
    • Communicate effectively with other departments, including production, engineering, and quality control.
    • Collaborate with vendors and suppliers to ensure timely procurement of parts and equipment.
    • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and equipment performance.

Qualifications:

  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's degree in a related field .
  • Experience: Minimum of 10 years of experience as a millwright, with 10 years in a leadership or supervisory role.
  • Skills:
    • Proficient in the installation, maintenance, and repair of industrial machinery and equipment.
    • Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic systems.
    • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
    • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
    • Strong leadership, mentoring, and team management skills.
    • Proficiency in computer skills.
  • Certifications: Journeyman Millwright certification or equivalent .
  • Other: Ability to work in a fast-paced, demanding environment.
