We are seeking an experienced Industrial Maintenance Mechanic to join our team on the 2nd shift, ensuring smooth and safe operations of our facility’s heat-treating equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Preventive Maintenance: Perform scheduled maintenance on a variety of heat-treating machinery, including furnaces, ovens, cooling systems, and hydraulic components, to prevent downtime.
• Troubleshooting & Repairs: Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues promptly to minimize disruptions.
• Equipment Calibration & Inspection: Regularly inspect equipment, calibrate sensors, and verify that machines meet quality standards.
• Safety Compliance: Adhere to and enforce OSHA and company safety standards to maintain a safe working environment.
• Record-Keeping: Document maintenance activities, part replacements, and equipment performance for future reference and audit purposes.
• Collaboration: Work closely with production staff to coordinate machine repairs and provide quick support for emergency maintenance.

Requirements:

• Experience: Minimum of 3 years in an industrial maintenance role, ideally within a heat-treating or metal manufacturing environment.
• Technical Skills: Proficient in mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems maintenance; familiarity with PLC troubleshooting is a plus.
• Certifications: Relevant technical certifications (e.g., HVAC, Electrical, or Welding) are .
• Physical Requirements: Ability to lift 50 lbs., stand for extended periods, and perform maintenance tasks in various environments (e.g., high heat).
• Problem-Solving Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a commitment to minimizing downtime.
