Position Overview: We are seeking a skilled Industrial Maintenance Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical, electrical, PLC, and hydraulic systems, ensuring optimal performance and reliability of our equipment and machinery. This role requires a proactive approach to maintenance and troubleshooting, along with the ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintenance and Repair: Perform routine and preventive maintenance on industrial equipment, including mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems to minimize downtime.
- Troubleshooting: Diagnose and repair equipment malfunctions using electrical and mechanical skills. Utilize troubleshooting techniques to identify root causes and implement effective solutions.
- Installation: Assist in the installation of new machinery and equipment, ensuring compliance with safety standards and operational efficiency.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and inspections. Generate reports on equipment performance and maintenance needs.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations, ensuring a safe working environment for yourself and your colleagues.
- Collaboration: Work closely with production teams to ensure that equipment operates efficiently and meets production schedules. Provide technical support and training as needed.
- Continuous Improvement: Participate in continuous improvement initiatives, offering suggestions for enhancing maintenance processes and equipment performance.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree or certification in industrial maintenance, electrical engineering, or related field .
- Proven experience in industrial maintenance with a strong focus on mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.
- Familiarity with PLCs, motor controls, and other automation technologies is a plus.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and on-call as needed.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift heavy objects, climb ladders, and perform physical tasks as needed.
- Comfortable working in various environments, including those with noise, temperature variations, and confined spaces.
