JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Performing preventative maintenance, part replacements, and equipment improvements within a team and individually
- Diagnosing and troubleshooting equipment issues and breakdowns
- Documenting of work orders
- Coordinating with production and other department teams to solve problems
FACILTY OVERVIEW:
Process equipment in this facility includes bucket elevators, screw conveyors, rotary feeders, belt conveyors, particle sizing screeners, crushers, grinding mills, automated bagging and palletizing equipment, product bins, compressed air and dust collection systems. Processes are controlled by PLC network, with touchscreen interfaces.
KNOWLEDGE:
- Mechanical aptitude: bearings, belt tracking, V belts, gearboxes, motors, conveyor rollers, and alignment of shafts, sprockets, and sheaves
- Experience with various bulk material handling equipment
- Lifting and rigging
- Welding
- Pneumatics
- Grease lubrication systems
- Control systems: Lock Out Tag Out, Safety Interlocks, PLC Control, etc.
- Basic electrical understanding
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
• Stand, walk, sit, handle, reach, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, lift and/move up to 50lbs.
SCHEDULE
• 12-hour shift, 4 on 4 off. shift will begin on days but ultimately be overnight shift
EXPERIENCE
• Mechanical knowledge: 1-3 years ()
