Package Pavement Company, Inc., a manufacturer and licensee of QUIKRETE® products in Ravena, NY is seeking an experienced mechanic to join our team.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Repair and maintain mechanical parts in our production plant and facilities, including;
  1. Conveyors, elevators, dryers, mixing tanks, screens, etc.
• Repair and maintain site vehicles, such as;
  1. Forklifts, sweepers, tractor trailers, etc.
• Inspect and troubleshoot machinery and equipment to determine cause of malfunction or extent of wear or damage
• Repair mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic or electronic components of electrical equipment using standard tools and gauges
• Follow all OSHA safety regulations
• Follow all company safety policies and procedures when performing repairs and preventative maintenance tasks.
• Other duties as assigned

Education & Experience

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Vocational training a plus
• Two to five years’ experience working in industrial maintenance, including;
  1. pneumatics
  2. hydraulics
  3. trucks, forklifts and other moving machinery
• Must have own tools

We offer a competitive hourly wage and benefit package. Starting salary range is $24-$26.50 per hour.
