Company Hiring Immediately for a Qualified Industrial Mechanic/Mill Wright

INDUSTRIAL MECHANIC / MILLWRIGHT

Job Type: Full-time Hourly Pay Range: $25 to $30

Responsibilities:

• Diagnose and repair machines and equipment

• Detect and troubleshoot irregularities and malfunctions

• Perform general facility preventive and repair maintenance

• Keep machines, mechanical equipment and structure maintained

• Clean or lubricate shafts, bearings, gears, or other parts of machinery and workspace

• Repair or replace defective machinery or parts

• Building maintenance

• Furnace repair and reline

• Operate forklift

• Ensure all safety equipment are present and in proper working order

• Follow all company safety practices and rules

• Follow company policies and procedures and proper code of conduct when working

• Hot work and lockout/tagout operation

• Keep management informed of machinery and facility problems Job Requirements:

• Candidates must have a High School diploma or equivalent

• Candidates must be able to pass a drug screen and pre-employment physical

• Proficiency with hand tools a must

• A strong candidate will have electrical, welding and hydraulic experience

• Knowledge of PLC is

• Ability to lift 75 lbs. without difficulty

• Demonstrated ability to work without direct supervision
