Industrial Plant Mechanic

We are seeking an Industrial Plant Maintenance Mechanic for immediate hire in Lansdale, Pennsylvania. This role will be responsible for maintaining a variety of production, processing, and packaging equipment in a food and beverage plant. Compensation:





$29.37/hour to start (increase to $30.27/hour in October 2024).





$5,000 sign on bonus.

Shift:





Third shift, 10:00pm - 6:00am (variable days off).





Duties:





Repair, maintain and trouble shoot equipment such as but not limited to: Fillers, Stackers, Casers, Tracks, Labelers, Conveyors, Blow molds, etc.).





Monitor and maintain ammonia compressors, air compressors, boilers, condensers and chillers.





Support the installation of new equipment





Ensure all repairs are documented.





Follow all good manufacturing practices (GMP) and work in a manner consistent with all food safety, quality, and sanitation requirements.





Qualifications:





Prior experience with Diagnosing, trouble shooting, servicing and repairing electrical, mechanical, refrigeration, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems/components in an industrial/manufacturing plant.





High school diploma. Trade school or technical school training a plus.





Knowledge of charts, tables, drawings, specifications, schedules, wiring diagrams.





Able to use a variety of maintenance tools, hand and power tools, electric meters, and material handling equipment in a safe manner
