Job Description kindly note that the start date for this role will be early 2025 The work As a Product Lifecycle & Engineering consultant/manager you are a true R&D enthusiast, a Product Design innovator and a problem solver in the field of Engineering Processes. You are our next generation leader that will drive digital transformations and help our clients transform their R&D process, launch new products and ensure long-term sustainability. You look at products and processes from ideation to industrialization and ultimately to their end-of-life by using the power of data and digital ingenuity to help our clients redefine the products they make and how they make them.  Team This is an exciting opportunity to join Industry X, where you will become part of a diverse and dynamic team of innovators, visionaries, and problem solvers in the fields of Product Engineering and Servicing. Our team partners with clients to imagine and invent the future of their end-to-end NPD (New Product Design) journey and to define their next-generation R&D strategy. Processes As a Consultant in Industry X you will work with clients in the domain of Research & Development (R&D) and product engineering to work on their end-to-end NPD processes and tools. You will work on blueprinting a strategy from ideation to industrialization and end-of-life. You will advise the client on the future potential of their R&D and Engineering processes and deliver and implement these projects from start to finish which can include Recipe Development and Formulation in the field of Food & Beverages, 3D CAD design for complex industrial products or Sustainable Packaging development in the healthcare industry. Technology Within Industry X Product Engineering and Servicing we work with most major- and niche players in the market including proven solutions from SAP, Siemens, Dassault and PTC. As an Industry X experienced consultant/manager we always take a technology-agnostic approach, we focus on the strategies behind Engineering such as Product Lifecycle Management, Model Based Systems Engineering, Requirements Management and Application Lifecycle Management. Qualifications Here's what you'll need (we require a cover letter along with your CV) You have a master's or bachelor's degree with a strong affinity for engineering technology, consulting and product innovation. You are passionate about Engineering with between 2 to 6 years’ experience on Engineering or PLM implementations or digital transformations and experience in working with Engineering and Product Lifecycle or NPD processes You are a true team player with great analytical and problem-solving skills and excellent verbal and written communication skills. You love to see the world and are able to travel to (international) client sites You are fluent in English, both spoken and written and are currently living in (or planning to relocate to) The Netherlands Bonus points if you have Fluency in Dutch, spoken and written, is preferred. Experience in industry relevant Engineering and PLM software tools such as SAP PLM, Siemens Teamcenter, Dassault Enovia, PTC Windchill or similar. Worked on digital transformation and process design projects at clients in the Engineering domain. Stakeholder management and team management experience Familiar with different project management methods such as Waterfall and Agile. What's in it for you?
