Position Summary: Relocation provided
Manages all IT activities within the organization and ensures the IT systems evolve to support the organizational goals. The position reports to the Chief Financial Officer and has one direct report, the Data Analyst.
Functional Duties:
- Oversees the company’s entire network infrastructure and ensures it is designed to meet the organization’s goals.
- Ensures all backup and disaster recovery systems are operational and are appropriate for the organizational risks.
- Functions as a system administrator and is responsible for all related network activities.
- Administration of SQL server maintenance, PowerBI, domain controllers, printer networks, DUO 2-factor authentication, VPN, Power Automate workflows, and others.
- Manages and supports company communication infrastructure such as phone systems, ISP providers, and Office 365 products.
- Develops requirements, outlines, and budgets for IT projects and oversees all phases of these projects from conception to completion.
- Assists with risk management planning.
- Proactively assesses Cyber security risk areas and takes appropriate action to strengthen systems.
- Performs analysis of network needs and contributes to design of network architecture, integration and installation. Maintains network hardware and software, including servers, printers, PCs, and other peripherals.
- Monitors and maintains network stability, collects and analyzes network and memory utilization, and installs and tests software upgrades.
- Trains users in the operations of office 365 applications, phishing risks, and use of network tools.
- Maintains and internal help desk ticketing system aimed at improving user experiences and determining areas needing improvement.
- Designs and implements secure solutions to meet customer / client needs while protecting the corporation's assets.
- Oversees the company’s EDI functionality.
- Leads, manages, and holds direct report accountable in the performance of their responsibilities and maintains effective professional working relationships with co-workers at every level of the organization.
- Responsible for leading EOS (Entrepreneurial Operating System) for the IT department.
- Stays up to date on developments in IT technology.
- Prepares long and short-range plans for application selection, systems development, and acquisition of the resources needed to support them.
- Supports of myriad of software programs including: Aeros ERP, Aeros Live, Easy Automation, Repete, Computerway Food Systems, Sage, Forms on Fire, GEOTAB, FeedLok, and others.
- Establishes and maintains relationships with contractors and equipment suppliers.
- Supports Environment Management Systems (EMS) in an impactful manner to include monitoring/reducing operationally related negative effects on the environment as well as pollution prevention.
Required Education & Skills:
- B.S. in Computer Science or Information Systems.
- Strong knowledge of and experience with programming (.NET environment / VB.NET, C# ).
- Excel VBA and knowledge of statistics and experience using statistical packages for analyzing large datasets (Excel, SPSS, SAS etc.) are .
- Experience planning and maintaining multi-site corporate network with Cisco / Meraki equipment.
- Understanding of LAN/WAN/VLAN networking.
- Support end user VPN access.
- Support MFA in a Duo environment.
- Support of EDI programs.
- Support a VMWare virtualization environment including knowledge of Vcenter and Vsphere.
- Support Windows Server 2019 / 2022 file and application servers in a hybrid on premises / cloud Active Directory environment.
- Support Microsoft SQL Server 2014 / 2022 servers. Knowledge of querying in T-SQL is a plus.
- Experience planning and maintaining server backup and disaster recovery procedures in a Veeam environment.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Azure and Microsoft 365 administration and support.
- Prior assist in PowerBI administration and gateway support.
- Familiarity with maintaining and supporting hardware in a Windows 10/11 environment.
Physical Requirement/Work Environment
- Must be able to adapt to office work environments which could include cold, heat. Individual will be exposed to high noise levels.
- Data entry while seated for greater than one (1) hour
- Must possess the ability to work in an agricultural environment, indoors, outdoors, office, warehouse, processing, and farm production areas each varying in temperature, odor and other environment specific atmospheres.
- Must have & maintain a valid driver’s license as travel among the 3 main company locations is required.
- Must be fully flexible with hours and schedule with the flexibility to work: days, nights, weekends, holidays, etc.
