Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and detail-orientedInfrastructure Engineerto join our energy-related client's team in Atlanta, GA. This hybrid role requires a professional with expertise in data center architecture, cloud infrastructure, and network solutions. The Infrastructure Engineer will play a critical role in designing, implementing, and managing enterprise IT infrastructure while serving as a technical lead on key projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Enterprise Network Solutions:
- Collaborate with IT personnel to manage and implement enterprise network solutions.
- Ensure infrastructure stability, scalability, and performance across the organization.
- Technical Leadership:
- Act as the technical lead for project teams by conducting research and analysis.
- Provide recommendations and guidance to project managers and team members.
- Requirements Analysis:
- Partner with subject matter experts, Business Analysts, and IT staff to analyze, understand, and document system requirements.
- Identify and address gaps in system design and functionality.
- Project Collaboration:
- Work closely with IT Project Managers (PMs) on release planning, task estimation, and timeline development.
- Ensure projects align with organizational goals and meet defined deadlines.
Must-Haves:
- 5+ years of experience inData Center Architecture.
- 3+ years of experience working withcloud infrastructure(e.g., Cisco, Azure).
- 3+ years of experience working withnetwork infrastructure.
- Skills & Knowledge:
- Strong understanding of enterprise network and cloud-based architectures.
- Hands-on experience with configuring and managing IT infrastructure in hybrid environments.
- Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Qualifications:
- Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools (e.g., Terraform, Ansible).
- Certifications in Cisco (e.g., CCNP), Azure, or related technologies.
- Experience in IT project management and Agile methodologies.
