Davis Wright Tremaine LLP is looking for a Infrastructure Engineer I to join our team in either Seattle, Bellevue, Portland, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Chicago, Anchorage, New York, or Washington D.C office. This position is responsible for supporting the stable operation of the in-house computing infrastructure in a team environment. Regardless of position, everyone here has a voice and the support is unparalleled.On a typical day you will: Manage identity service provisioning, auditing and ongoing access requirements for on-premises and hybrid/cloud endpoint, data and application access.Manage the firm's integrated e-mail systems to provision, manage and troubleshoot firm e-mail communications internally and externally including the e-mail policies built around that communication. Evaluate systems infrastructure needs of the firm. Make hardware, software, and vendor recommendations. Take part in product evaluations, planning and implementation of systems, applications, and servicesTake part in setting system and platform roadmapsFacilitate and oversee vendor’s services and monitor performance of systems and platforms as required to ensure maximum system availability and reliabilityMaintain guidelines, procedures, documentation and associated training plans for infrastructure administration and appropriate useAvailable to respond 24/7 for the outage or degradation of critical infrastructure servicesAssist other Information Technology teams to coordinate, develop and recommend the design of functionally centralized and distributed information systems to meet the needs of the firmExecute programs for continual measurement of the firm’s information systems performance and effectiveness. Evaluate reports to identify and correct deficiencies and irregular operationsRecommend hardware/software or corrective action as needed to assure performance requirements for continuity of service, system response time, security, reporting, backup and recovery are metPursue a formal and informal program of continuing education to keep informed of new developments and sharpen skills to ensure that the firm is taking optimal advantage of existing and new technologiesRecommend and maintain standards and procedures to support the needs of the firmParticipate in overall systems administration, maintenance and standards implementationAssist in the preparation of annual IT budget and meet annual budget targetsFollow documented processes for change control and patch managementOther duties as assignedTravel, if necessaryJoin us if you have:BS/BA in Information Technology, Engineering, Communications or equivalent experience requiredExperience with the following technologies highly preferred:Active Directory/Azure Active Directory administrationExchange/Exchange Online administrationMimecast administrationVaronis data classification and analysisWindows Server optimization and managementVMware vCenter/vSphere administrationHPE server hardwareVirtualization optimized SAN environments (e.g., Nimble)3+ years’ experience operating and maintaining large network environments.
