Infrastructure Sales Specialist

Job Description

The role is key to ensuring proactiveness and efficiency in KONE Infrastructure sales, asset management planning/tendering. As part of KONEs London & Southeast team you will be responsible for prospecting, lead handling and sales support activities especially in the pre-sales phase of sales cycle.

Key Experiences & Skills

Sales support, manage pricing and tender offering

  • Supports Infrastructure Sales Plans (ISPs) Aviation & Rail (lifts & escalators)
  • Drives and owns tender submissions ensuring customers requirements have been heard and incorporated.
  • Utilizes Tendering tools and CRM, to collate documentation.
  • Collaborates with sales personnel to ensure accurate customer data and hierarchies with internal management systems (SAP & CRM).
  • Proactively monitors leads and new opportunities within CRM, ensuring works are assigned to the correct owners.
  • Coordinates the customers approval of designs and lay-out drawings.
  • Maintains tendering tools and master templates as instructed by sales manager / product manager.
  • Responsible for collating reports and summaries for sales, marketing, installation, delivery, finance managers etc.

Customer relationship coordination

  • Supports KONEs position and customer base in the aviation/rail market.
  • Supports development of customer relationships, profitability, customer loyalty and satisfaction.
  • Coordinates/supports and follows up customer plans for strategic delivery.
  • Promotes and demonstrates the value of KONE digital offering.

Manage Sales Funnel

  • Owns and manages CRM data quality of contacts, customers, influencers, opportunity management, and won and lost reporting.
  • Collaborates with the sales and operational teams to drive results through orders, contracts, and market price development.
  • Identifies key areas for business growth within the airports/rail environments, through customer relations and data analysis.
  • Supports sales result for the infrastructure business on short and long term.
  • Owns the Coordination and submission of tenders.
  • Utilizes global processes and tools for local benefit.

People

  • Collaborates with Internal team(s) (Operations mangers/technical & performance specialists) to build customer relations.
  • Clearly communicates the value of KONE solutions to customers in line with their own performance goals.
  • Engages with the team members to achieve better results through sharing of best practices.
  • Coordinates adequate resources to achieve the short- and long-term targets (tender ownership)

Key Skills & Experiences

  • Background in Infrastructure is beneficial but not essential.
  • Previous experience in Sales or Customer Service.
  • Advanced office-tools literacy.
  • Contractual and financial understanding.
  • Customer service mindset - desire to understand what creates value to our customers and courage to experiment in innovate thinking.
  • Good administrative skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and team working skills.
  • Effective communication skills in English (written and spoken).
  • Handling customer questions & inquiries.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Knowledge in Salesforce & Asite is beneficial.
