Inspection Technician II

The Red Lion Team is seeking a Inspection Technician II on First (1st) shift.

Summary:
Provides technical support to the quality and quality engineering (QE) functions | Conducts quality control (QC) inspections on products, materials, components, parts, etc., at various stages of the production process to ensure compliance with established quality and reliability standards | Captures and analyzes statistical data from processes to either confirm compliance with established standards or identify deviations from standards |Recommends new or enhanced methods, procedures and standards.
Major Position Responsibilities:
Essential Duties:
Performs repetitive and routine inspections, checks, tests and sampling procedures of standard parts, units, equipment, or materials
Performs inspections of purchased parts, subassemblies or finished company products according to well-defined criteria using standard physical, mechanical and/or electrical measurements.
Reworks or rejects subassemblies or finished products as required. Performs audits to ensurestandards of quality are maintained.
Accurately documents the results of the inspections and testing.
Coordinates calibration of test equipment and fixtures.
Assists in the writing and updating of inspection procedures, protocol and checklists.
Requires ability to interpret prints, schematics, and drawings.
Basic Qualifications:

Vocation/Technical Training Degree
2-4 years prior experience in similar position
OR Equivalent Combination of Relevent Education & Experience
Knowledge, Skills, & Ability
Oral & Written communication skills.

Technical expertise
Detail Oriented
Qualifications:
Associate's Degree/Technical Degree
OR equivalent training and experience.
Physical Demands:
Must be able to remain in a stationary position at a desk and/or computer for extended periods of time.
Must be able to lift up to 45 pounds.
May need to stand for long periods of time.
Travel Requirements No or very little travel likely.
