About the Role

The ideal candidate will have working knowledge and skills including installation of category cabling systems, fiber optic cabling, and pathways for low-voltage infrastructure. Knowledge of commercial audio-visual systems, including installation, operation, and troubleshooting, would be a bonus.

Responsibilities:

• Install and test category cabling systems, fiber optic cabling networks, and coaxial cabling systems.
• Install pathways / runways for low voltage (LV) systems.
• Complete other installation duties as assigned.
• Maintain professionalism when interacting with everyone on a job site, including clients, other vendors, project managers, and lead field technicians.
• Exemplify the company’s core values: show a positive attitude and strong work ethic.
• Travel to various job sites required.

Qualifications:

• Must have:
  • Working knowledge of various construction methods and tools with an emphasis on structural & electrical standard for commercial environments.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to use hand and power tools in a safe and efficient manner.
  • Ability to take initiative, work independently, and meet deadlines.
  • A valid driver’s license.
• Nice to have:
  • DAS installation experience
  • Current BICSI certification
  • A working knowledge of access-control and security systems
  • Understanding of commercial audio-visual systems installation and troubleshooting.
