SUMMARY:
The Mobile Inventory Technician will be responsible for coordinating and ensuring the timely and accurate delivery ofsterilized instruments and implants needed for surgery. This includes the safe and timely transportation of inventory between SPDx sterilization facility, and medical facilities and/or locations specified, using SPDx owned transportation.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
- Deliver instrument sets and implants to hospitals accurately and
- Retrieve and return instrument sets and implants following surgery to the SPDx
- Complete mobile application system
- Drive company-owned vehicle to make customer deliveries and pick-
- Communicate and coordinate requests and shipments with Customers and Sales Representatives using the SPDx IT system.
- Follow hospital-specific and facility-specific dispatch
- Maintain knowledge to identify client’s surgical sets by major product groupings and ensures familiarity with product lines.
- Map out driving routes ahead of time to determine the most expedient
- Perform vehicle inspections as required, schedule routine or repair maintenance as needed and reports issues promptly.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Clean driving record required
- 1-2 years of experience in a hospital or healthcare setting
SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED:
- Demonstrates excellent time management skills
- Proficient with GPS Navigation systems and can easily navigate previously unknown areas
- Basic computer navigation and utilization skills
- Willing to ask questions and seek help as necessary
- Outstanding organizational and problem-solving skills
- Able to read and comprehend written and oral instructions
- Verbal communication skills
