Instrument Field Engineer
Instrument Field Engineer Location: AtyrauRotation: 28/28 Competences: •Computer literate; •Fluent in both spoken and written English; •Medical Certificate of Fitness; •Good communication skills, both verbal and written, including the ability to make presentations and write effective reports •Team player with proactive approach to the decision making process •Ability to work in team environments, communicate, understand and work within the dynamics of a multi functional, multi cultural and multi location environment •Capacity to integrate, lead and coach with multi-national and national staff •Problem solving and analytical skills •HSE mindset and strong commitment to safety •High level of Supervisory experience and ability Requirements:•Higher Education Diploma/ Degree qualification in Instrument/Electronic engineering; •Successful completion of recognized Mechanical Apprenticeship in Oil and Gas Industry; •Minimum 3 years’ experience in Instrument Maintenance activities in upstream Oil and Gas Industry to have included: •Knowledge of preventive, predictive, corrective and diagnostic maintenance techniques; •Proven experience in automatic control, actuators, process control instrumentation, Fire & Gas and ESD systems, typical measurement techniques and relevant instrumentation, rotating machinery, troubleshooting techniques-Knowledge of Condition monitoring techniques; -Management of contractors and vendors; -Workshop testing and calibration knowledge etc.; -Knowledge of control systems such as ICSS, DCS, SCADA, PLC and data transmission network. Significant experience in Oil & Gas plants Design and Operation; •Knowledge of local and international codes and regulations regarding mechanical systems and equipment; •RoK Blue book certified (training and assessment will be provided if required); •CMMS knowledge and experience; •Previous experience in Caspian Area would be beneficial.
