Instrumentation Technician

Technicians should know the following:
- Awareness and knowledge before working on a device are imperative to Safety and Reliability.
- Knowledge of Rosemount smart transmitters, etc. (3051,3095,1151)
- Knowledge of Foxboro pneumatic transmitters and controllers, etc. (43 AP controllers, 11gm, 13a, 15gm)
- Knowledge of Fisher, Neles/Metso, Mason Elian, Flowserve/Valtek valves (any other AL-needed valve), positioners, smart, and pneumatics.
- Knowledge of Bently Nevada systems and how vibration probes work
- Knowledge of testing vibration systems and calibration of them
- Able to read P&IDS.
- Able to perform loop checks on RTD and T/C
- Able to read and send signals with test equipment for RTDS and T/C
- Able to read a multimeter and know what the reading means.
- Able to Calibrate pressure switches, temperature switches, level switches
- Able to read and understand one-line drawings and ladder diagrams
- Knowledge of motor starters, how they operate, and experience with troubleshooting
- Knowledge of 480VAC and below in electrical.
- Able to stay organized and on task when given a job to perform.
- Knowledge of TREX or 475 Field Communicator,
- Knowledge of Fluke 753/754 Calibrator,
- Knowledge of Multimeter / Voltmeter / Clamp on meter
- Good troubleshooting skills on all items above
- Able to stay organized and turn in reports & billing in a timely manner.
- Communication Skills with peers and customers.
Training Offered:
You will be introduced to various Analyzer systems.
