We are looking for an Instrumentation & Control System H/F Engineer for one of our clients with the following details:

Qualifications & Experience Required

• Engineer specialized in control and safety system studies with +/-15 years of experience in onshore industrial site design and especially in the case of revamping.
• The candidate must have skills in the implementation of Integrated metering systems including the option of production allocation.
• The candidate must also have skills in instrumentation, telecom.
• The candidate must be able to interact with specialists interfacing with his/her discipline and local piping manufacturing and installation companies.
• The candidate must show proactive, anticipatory and rigorous behaviour in a multicultural context.
• Fluent spoken and written English is mandatory. Spoken and written French is commonly recommended.

Activities

• Communicates and applies the HSE policies of the Company in the sizing of new installations and their modifications.
• Supervises the instrumentation, control system, telecom and telecom studies carried out by the EPC contractor, and/or subcontractor(s) and ensures that they are carried out within the given deadlines.
• Through the revisions and comments of technical documents, we guarantee compliance with the applicable standard, project and consortium procedures, safety standards, applicable regulations and legislation.
• Reviews and comments on technical documents from interfacing disciplines such as Process, Safety, Rotating Machinery, etc. as well as possible project procedures.
• Proposes optimizations in terms of planning and costs to facilitate opportunity work and the realization of tie-ins before the SIMOPS phase.
• Contributes to the development of 3D modeling of changes as well as on-site verifications as needed.
• Contributes to the constructability study to define realistic modifications.
• Ensures that the site's instrumentation database is properly updated with the new integrated equipment and will be able to participate in the creation of a new complete database in collaboration with the consortium.
• Interacted with specialists of the parties involved in the Project and representatives of the authorities for assistance and/or technical reviews.
