Job DescriptionRaise is hiring a Instrumentation & Controls Engineer for our client, a Canadian global leader in exploration, mine engineering, and environmental protection. This position is a twelve (12)-month contract located in Saskatoon, SK. We are actively seeking talented professionals like you to drive these crucial initiatives forward.Accountabilities Serve as or support the instrumentation discipline design lead on multi-discipline project teamsMust be able to perform instrument & valve sizing and selection for heavy industrial plantsFamiliarity with industrial networking protocols and ICS securityPrepare engineering drawing and documents such as the instrument index, control philosophy, P&IDs, instrument data sheets, instrument location plans, loop drawings, cable schedules, PLC and other panel drawings as requiredPrepare and evaluate bid documents for materials and contractsPerform vendor shop drawing reviewAssist with preparing material costs and timing estimatesOccasional travel to project sites in Northern Saskatchewan and Ontario may be requiredSigning and/or sealing of technical documents, including drawings, technical specifications, data sheets, engineering lists (such as equipment list, pipeline list, tie-in point list, valve lists etc), and calculationsQualificationsSite experience and heavy industrial exposure particularly with field instrument selectionBachelor's Degree EngineeringP.Eng. Designation with APEGSP.Eng. Designation with PEO
