Instrumentation Engineer
Work pattern: 5/2CMMS Build and SAP Implementation support and Updates•To coordinate the implementation of all Instrumentation Maintenance in the SAP PM module •To ensure the implementation of Maintenance Integrity Execution (MIE) – AI-PSM standard for all Instrumentation in the CMMS Build including SCE identification, Performance Standards setting, Assurance Activity implementation and QM module requirements.•To ensure the proper definition of Functional Locations hierarchy for all Instrumentation, Control and Automation equipment in the CMMS Build for custody transfer facilities•To ensure that maintenance procedures are defined for all Instrumentation in the CMMS Build including Task lists, Operations requirements, standard text, PRT, Workcentres etc.•Define, Update and localize maintenance strategies for Instrumentation equipment according RoK requirements and vendors recommendations.•To define the post implementation CMMS “after care” requirements for Instrumentation, Control and Automation Equipments in order to optimize the CMMS during its first years in operation. Instrument and Metrology Integration•Participate in Metrology Optimization process to allow reduce number of instruments requiring state verification and move them to Indicators.•Take part in asset register verification process for instrumentation•Enhance Preventative Maintenance strategies to remove duplication and assign support resources•Work with Metrology team to identify where testing procedures can be simplified, and stearmlined to reduce work load•Support metrology with justifications and data related conditioned based results, to optimize test intervals Instrumentation Spare Parts Management•To work with the line to define the Instrumentation spares requirement, participate in the QA/QC of electrical SPIL-forms and their coding and conversion to Company e-SPIR forms including to take accountability for the population of the data into the CMMS system.•To support O&M rationalization of spare part for Instrumentation.•To ensure compliance with (Republic of Kazakhstan) legislative requirements with regards to Instrumentation selected and Equipment maintenance strategy in the CMMS Build. •Provide support to Contracts & Procurement department regarding purchasing spare parts for instrumentation •Provide regular support to field maintenance teams of onshore and offshore assets•Research obsolete parts and develop alternatives or strategies to maintain assets Turnaround (planning & execution & validation) & Site Maintenance Support•Participate in TA scope planning, and provide TA justification and drivers for scope•Identify & develop required resources, tools, parts, contracts, logistics, and specialized procedures•Oversee contractors involved in work preparation, walk-downs, execution, and acceptance of work•Provide technical oversight to ensure contractors work safely, and efficiently•Facilitate and support TA execution, troubleshooting, and resolution of conflicts •Actively participate and lead in risk assessments and development of Work-Packs and PTW•Monitor work execution and company HSSE compliance (PTW, JHA, procedures)•Develops effective working relationships with relevant disciplines and customers •Acts as role model to promote strong service culture•Visits CLIENT onshore and offshore facilities to build a strong asset intimacy Engineering Design, Projects, and Management of Change•Is accountable for exercising appropriate discipline controls for CLIENT projects throughout the ORP phases (Identify, Assess, Select, Define, Execute)•Participates in complex Process Safety incident investigations related to discipline•Promotes Process Safety and shares learnings from Process Safety incidents across the organization•Provides innovative solutions for complex problems using, at time, incomplete information •Contributes new ideas and identifies opportunities to improve efficiency of business processes and to improve value delivery to projects•Identify, analyze & promote improvement opportunities to optimize equipment capacity & performance•Reviews operational issues and formulates proposals to improve MTBF and MTTR in a cost effective manner •Undertakes tasks and projects of moderate complexity•Design, engineer, construct and commission modifications and projects to appropriate technical and RoK standards•Assists in the management of technical interfaces with contractors and vendors•Ensures high quality critical as-built documents and drawings related to the discipline for CLIENT assets and for all projects Competences:•Good communication skills•Strong team player with proactive approach to the decision making process•A HSE driven mindset•Must be a self-start, highly motivated•Good communication skills are essential•Basic Knowledge of MS Office Suite•Intermediate knowledge of English and wish to learn Requirements:•Degree or HNC in Engineering•3 years’ work experience in Instrumentation, Control and Automation Maintenance (M&I strategy development, reliability engineering, maintenance planning, spare parts and material definition), preferably within Operations and Maintenance.•Experience in Kashagan project and Maintenance Activities.•H2S Survival training as desirable option Advantageous Qualifications/Experience•Work experience with/at State Authorities•Work experience with/at CPC, KTO, KTG Operations in RoK.•In addition, experience in working with Fire Authority. •Having previous experience working in a high concentration H2S environment is desirable
