Seitron Americas Inc., a growing innovative instrumentation manufacturer located in Newtown, PA, is seeking a Full-Time, highly motivated Instrumentation Service & Customer Service Manager to help manage & facilitate our growing Service & Calibration Department.  

Instrumentation portfolio: combustion gas & emissions analyzers, AC/Refrigeration portable testing instruments, Refrigeration leak detection systems, portable & fixed gas leak detection systems and personal gas monitors for safety.

Job Description:

  • Coordination and Management of Service Department
  • Assemble, repair, and calibrate the company’s range of handheld gas & emissions analyzers, leak detectors, personal gas safety monitors, etc.
  • Properly follow work and test procedures, perform QA and QC inspections. (components include PCBs, pumps, batteries, displays, sensors)
  • Use diagnostic methods to identify issues/problems and come up with solutions to repair them.
  • Coordination & operation of gas cylinders and environmental chambers to perform testing and calibration of repaired/assembled units.
  • Fix or replace defective components and notify purchasing of the need to order necessary parts to replace faulty or worn-out parts.
  • Complete detailed reports and keep records on the services completed.
  • Performing evaluations and repairs of instruments, accessories, and components.
  • Performing measurement verifications using laboratory equipment.
  • Completing calibration adjustment procedures for new and RMA analyzers.
  • Updating RMA tickets and completing RMA evaluation forms.
  • Replacing sensors, components, and accessories as needed.
  • Customer service including techical support and communication with customers
  • Assisting with new product configurations.
  • Assisting with inventory management.

 Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Analytical Skills and Research and Development (R&D) experience
  • Team Management and Project Management skills
  • Technical Support knowledge
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities
  • Excellent Organizational Skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Degree in Engineering or related field and/or Previous experience in instrumentation service industry is a plus
  • Experience in Customer Service and Customer support interaction & communication
  • Skills in Microsoft Office, Email, ERP, CRM and service platforms
  • Technically inclined & motivated to learn.
  • Mechanical and electrical aptitude is a plus.
