JOB DESCRIPTION Job TitleIntegral Project Leader (pipeline)Job DescriptionJob Description SummaryResponsible for End-to-End leading of a project to develop product, technology, system and solutions. Manages projects ensuring execution is in line with project guidelines and directives. Prepares and implements projects in multi-discipline areas in accordance with agreed conditions on specification, time, cost, quality and staffing. Projects have an innovative character and keep abreast of developments in project management tools and processes as well as technical domain.You are responsible forResponsible for formulating the project plan, in consultation with management and other parties concerned on base of the requirements.Responsible to organize the resources to be used (quality, time, allocation, budget and information), helps the team to organize and specifies the quality standard in the processesIdentifies the risks of the project (ie. specs, costs, planning, etc) and develops scenarios to overcome these risks by defining corrective actions and driving the projects to closureCoaches and directs project team members and gives them operational guidance, both technically and organizationally, responsible and facilitates implementation, realization and release by the project team according to the project plan (specification, quality, time, cost, information) and organizationRepresents the project team in the overall project to optimize fit for use and overall effectivenessGathers and integrates project performance and progress information. Reports on the progress of the project with an agreed frequency on quality, status, time, and money to senior management and to the project membersEnsures that there is an effective transfer and archiving of the project results and the associated knowledgeReports on employees’ performance to the hierarchical superior of the employees for the purpose of appraisalEnsures requirements and business case are defined, completed and approvedBuilds and maintains the project organization, helps the team to organize, chooses or coaches on the way of working and selects the adequate tools (tailors the approach to the specific project) and defines the interfaces with other functions, internal and external PhilipsIs responsible for quality initiatives to ensure quality deliverables of subsystems deliveredDeploys process improvements, supports continuous improvement of teams and makes the project organization efficient and transparent, in line with departmental and project processes and compliance to corporate policies/rules/proceduresManages internal and external stakeholdersManages a project team of >10 team membersCoaching of team membersYou are a part of A progressive and energetic team that contributes directly to the growth of the business. You have a direct reporting line to the E2W Business Category leader, with Cross functional teams as your key stakeholders.To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience.Master’s degree in project management or PMP certified10+ years of relevant working experience, owning/leading projects from idea through implementation with evidence of business impactSpecific knowledge of technical engineering of the relevant technical discipline and related disciplines or specific functional knowledge in the relevant functional disciplineGood knowledge of project management methods and estimation techniques on resources, time and risksStrong skills in internal and external stakeholder management, people management and coaching, team management and enablementExcellent negotiation skills; managing subcontractors and suppliersExperience in leading projects where more disciplines are involved, multi-site and complex project. Co-ordination between the sub-projects.Critical thinker and strong team player. Accurate and quality minded, cost and quality conscious.Confident communicator with ability to effectively present both verbally and visually in English in a multi-site international setting.
