We have opening for Intercompany Accountant
- Role: Intercompany Accountant
- Location: Dubai, UAE
- Contract Duration: 12 months, renewable
- Experience in Intercompany functions, Finance/Accounting Background, Working in Multi-national Company, MS Excel Skilled and ERP (SAGE/SAP) is mandatory, and experience in VAT treatments in freezone/ mainland entity in UAE (preferred but not mandatory)
Responsibilities:
- Processing Intercompany invoices timely and accurately.
- Coordination with other intercompany partners to ensure that balances are in sync during the close process.
- Reconciliation of all the balance sheet accounts related to specific intercompany ledgers.
- Initiates settlements or wire payments with intercompany partners in compliance with accounting policies.
- Ensure that accounts are properly aged, settled promptly and aged IC balances to be closed on time.
- Compliance with all company policies and procedures
- Do a root cause analysis of approval efficiency and work with relevant stakeholders to fix process breaks and ensure continuous process improvements in all Intercompany transactions’ inefficiencies.
- Creation of Payment files on time as per the process standardization.
- Perform Payment approval review before it is sent to Manager or controller for approval.
- Perform reconciliation for all Intercompany vendors and customers and ensure the unreconciled items are cleared before month end.
- Strong awareness of internal control and security concerns.
- Support Internal Audits, External Audits, quarterly SOX activities and other Compliance related tasks as needed.
- Open GRNI and Open PO review
- GRNI Reconciliation and SL- GL Reconciliations.
- IC Cashflow monthly forecasting
- Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Qualification/Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in business/finance/accounting required.
- 3 to 5 years of experience with multinational company
- Experience and knowledge in General Accounting and Intercompany Accounting in MNC/ Shared Services
- Transformation experience within the Finance Function
- Strong awareness of internal control and security
Skills:
- Advanced Microsoft Office knowledge, especially in Excel (Pivot tables)
- SAGE ERP working knowledge.
- Proven ability to deliver high levels of customer service to both Internal and External customers.
