Interim Finance Analyst (Power BI)
Job Description
SF Recruitment are currently working with a Financial Services business in the recruitment of an Interim Finance Analyst. \n \nAre you an experienced Finance Analyst with extensive skills in Power BI and a strong background in budgeting and forecasting? We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Finance Analyst to join our dynamic finance team and report directly to the FP&A Manager for a minimum of 3 months until a permanent person is recruited.
\n \nKey Responsibilities: \n \nDevelop, maintain, and enhance Power BI dashboards and reports to provide real-time financial insights and analysis to key stakeholders. \nAssist in the creation, preparation, and maintenance of budgets and forecasts, ensuring accuracy and alignment with company objectives. \nCollaborate closely with cross-functional teams to gather data and understand business needs for reporting and analysis.
\nAnalyse financial performance, identify trends, and provide actionable insights to support decision-making and strategic planning. \nEnsure timely and accurate reporting of financial metrics, variance analysis, and performance indicators. \nSupport the FP&A Manager with monthly and quarterly reporting processes, including the preparation of board presentations and management reports.
\nMaintain financial models to evaluate business performance and identify potential areas for cost optimization or revenue growth. \nIdentify opportunities for automation and process improvement within the reporting function to streamline workflows. \n \nRequirements: \n \nProven experience as a Finance Analyst, with significant expertise in Power BI for reporting and data visualization.
\nStrong background in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis. \nSolid understanding of financial reporting and performance metrics. \nAdvanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other financial modeling tools.
\nExperience working in a fast-paced environment with the ability to manage multiple priorities. \nStrong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to present complex data in a clear and concise manner. \nExcellent communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with both finance and non-finance stakeholders
