Our client, a leading company in the building services sector, is seeking an Intermediate/Senior Electrical Design Engineer to join their expanding team. Based in the Gatwick area, this role offers the chance to work on exciting and high-profile projects, including cutting-edge data centres, within an innovative and supportive company culture.

\nKey Responsibilities:\n

• Design, specify, and deliver electrical systems for building services, with a strong focus on data centres.

\n

• Collaborate with project teams to ensure designs meet client requirements, industry standards, and regulations.

\n

• Oversee the preparation of technical documentation, calculations, and reports.

\n

• Attend client meetings and site visits as necessary to ensure design integrity and project progress.

\n

• Work across the full project lifecycle from initial concept through to delivery and handover.

\n

\nRequirements:\n

\n
• Proven experience in electrical design engineering within the building services sector, specifically data centres.

\n

• Strong knowledge of electrical systems and engineering principles.

\n

• Proficient in relevant design software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, Amtech, Dialux).

\n

• British passport holder with the right to work in the UK (no sponsorship available).

\n

• Strong communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.

\n

• Ideally, at least 3+ years of experience in a similar role (Intermediate level) or 5+ years (Senior level).
