Internal Quality Control Auditor - Outside Plant Construction

Position Summary:

The Internal Quality Control Auditor will conduct field-based audits across Georgia for company’s clients. This position is fully independent, with no direct supervision. The audits are internal in nature—findings are reported back to company leadership.  The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Outside Plant (OSP) operations and telecommunications, with a preference for those with prior AT&T experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform quality inspections during installation to verify compliance with plans and specifications
• Conduct random field sampling and quality control audits
• Generate reports and presentations based on field audit data
• Report findings to the company leadership team
• Drive to job sites across Georgia, including Augusta and Savannah
• Monitor installation milestones and support project activities
• Ensure all required testing is completed and documented
• Follow up on non-compliance issues until resolved
• Work overtime, travel, and handle on-call responsibilities as needed
• Perform duties in all weather conditions
• Complete other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• Authorized to work in the United States
• Valid state driver's license with acceptable driving record
• 5+ years of quality control or auditing experience
• Strong understanding of telecommunications and OSP construction practices
• Familiarity with customer installation standards and documentation
• Proficiency in data reporting, Excel, and pivot tables

Background:

• Previous experience completing quality audits for fiber OSP construction
• Former AT&T experience is a plus
• Strong independent work ethic and ability to manage responsibilities with minimal supervision
