International BD Operations Manager (12 month FTC)

International Operations Manager role in the BD team of this growing Private Client law firm. 12 month FTC. London / hybrid working. Salary up to £75,000.

This growing Private Client law firm, has strong connections internationally, primarily building their presence in Asia and the Middle East. They are looking for a BD Manager to manage their international programme, managing key referral relationships, international events and international client targeting. The role is an initial 12 month FTC, covering a maternity leave, however the firm have a good history of keeping talent who join on FTCs.

The role will involve, but isn’t limited to:

• Liaising with teams in Singapore and Hong Kong on their BD plans;
• Developing the Middle East marketing plan, working with the team on the ground there;
• Developing profile raising comms around the firm’s international offering;
• Working with the Intermediaries Manager on developing international relationships;
• Organising the firm’s involvement in the annual IBA conference, as well as wider international conferences;
• Building relationships with European law firms for referrals;
• Managing budgets for the international programme and travel.

The role would suit a BD professional from legal, ideally with experience of global markets and managing BD plans internationally. Ideally you will be able to start around May.
