Logistics Coordinator

Hours: 8A-5:30P Mon-Fri (must be able to work weekends with a rotating schedule)

Pay Rate: $20 - $25/hr Depending on experience

Job Description:

• Coordinate and approve bookings with suppliers and freight forwarders
• Work with production, sales and distribution to endure finished goods are moved throughout our supply chain in a timely and efficient manner
• Obtain import documentation and send to broker as well as enter into ERP system
• Work with 3PL’s to ensure timely delivery and receiving
• Maintain inbound calendar for the warehouse and sales team.
• Facilitate International dropship orders from start to finish
• Coordinating pickup, receiving, invoicing and sending documents to customers and/or bank.

Requirements:

• Ability to work effectively within various systems (ERP, WMS, partner portals, etc.), and able to understand, and work with ad hoc data to meet business objectives.
• Working knowledge of US Customs Rules, Regulations and Duty Rates
• Must be familiar with AWB’s, HBL’s, POD’s and other logistics terms.
• Strong general computer and Excel skills.
• Ability to assess, select and manage vendor partners
• 3-5+ years’ experience in international logistics/ocean forwarding
